I have always been fascinated with what happens backstage during a fashion week. Not the Indian ones, but the backstage at New York, London or Paris perhaps? The one’s we all have seen in The Devil Wears Prada and The September Issue, and the parties that make their way to Style.com. Those, where there’s fun, fashion and fabulousness!
Cosmopolitan India recently held one for TRESemmé at The Foyer, Olive and it was an experience. As soon as I walked into the arena, it transported me to one of the fantasies I’ve always had, backstage at Bryant Park! If somebody know’s how to throw a theme party it’s Cosmopolitan India. With the backstage setup, screening of the best of NYFW shows, TRESemmé hair stylists showing one how to work it, delicious finger foods, and bubbly flowing around, the best of Delhi crowd couldn’t complain!
What I loved most was the backstage vibe, with makeup stations, models rehearsing with rollers in their hair. I also got a chance to see Falguni & Shane Peacock’s SS’14 collection from NYFW up close!
I’ve to say I couldn’t stop gushing over how fierce & fabulous Cosmo’s editor Nandini Bhalla looked in her Amit Aggarwal, and absolutely loved Karuna Ezra in her Anand Bhushan.
A big thank you to the fabulous Cosmo Ladies for having me Nandini Bhalla, Priyam Chaturvedi, Meher Bajwa, Tanima Kholsa and Neha Bhasin (how stunning each one of you looked!)
Before I end this post, here’s a quick trick to do your hair better, one I’ll be using for sure courtesy TRESemmé
